I met Collette at our two day assessment join NYP and we were the only two from our group to be successful. From there we were part of the fantastic Spring intake to Dishforth PTC in April 1985. Whilst she was one of the cleverest students she couldn't run to save her life. My abiding memory of our P and M courses at Durham is that of Collette and Angie Clarke (Smith) running round with their hands on their hips 10 minutes after everyone else had finished. I dont think we had a crossed word in the subsequent 30 years. Whenever we met we would share a big hug then she would carry out a complete character assasination on me. A true friend and a great professional. I will miss you so much. RIP Colette, Ian Butler XXX
